Sarah McOwen, Board Chairperson and Co-Founder
Sarah McOwen (founder) holds a Juris Doctor degree. She was an associate at the law firm of Morrison & Foerster where she served corporate clients, including non-profit corporations. She also served on the board of Child Advocates and as a volunteer advocate of a dependent child of the court. She is now devoting work to Wing Haven.
Carol Bauman, Board Member and Co-Founder
Carol Bauman (founder) holds a masters degree in Biblical Studies from Dallas Theological Seminary and is an experienced school teacher. She has served students and women with children for many years and is currently a writer of historical fiction.
Lee Bauman, President and Co-Founder
Lee Bauman works full time on the implementation of Wing Haven and associated enterprises. Lee
has spent most of his career in the telecommunications industry
designing and marketing industry leading telecommunications network
systems and growing service providers that use the systems. Lee has
held corporate officer positions in major corporations and has been CEO
of small companies. Lee earned advanced technical and business degrees
with honors, including a Masters in Business from Stanford University, a
Masters of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the
University of Colorado, a Masters of Mechanical Engineering from Rutgers
University and a Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering from the
University of Cincinnati.Bill Lawrence, Board Member
Bill Lawrence is Senior Professor of Pastoral Ministries at Dallas Theological Seminary, and President of Leader Formation
International in Dallas, Texas. He was the founding pastor of South Hills Community Church in San Jose, California. Bill has authored several books and articles. Lynna Lawrence is a graduate medical assistant. She has developed biblical curriculum for women’s Bible studies, led student groups at Dallas Theological Seminary, mentored young women, and spoken at women’s retreats. Bill and Lynna travel together extensively mentoring leaders internationally.Carolyn Gabbard, Board Member
Carolyn Gabbard is a retired dental hygienist and sociologist. She is an ordained elder and deacon in the Presbyterian Church (USA). She is certified in Lay Pastor Education, Stephen Ministry, and Confident Kids Ministry. Carolyn and her husband Larry are certified marriage enrichment leaders and seasoned workshop presenters. They have been very actively involved in family ministries, task forces and studies. They live in Colorado.
