Financials

An Investment to Save Lives
At Wing Haven, we take stewardship seriously. That’s why our board is committed to abiding by the established budget which focuses donations towards client services.

It's also why we insist on:

  • Annual audits to show exactly how our income is used
  • Program audits to evaluate the effectiveness of our programs in the lives of women and children

The generational cycle of abuse is profound. The 1996 American Psychological Association Presidential Task Force on Violence and the Family reported that exposure to the father abusing the mother is the strongest risk factor for transmitting violent behavior from one generation to the next. Wing Haven’s services will break this cycle of violence in the current generation and have a ripple effect into the generations to come.

Wing Haven programs include all of the components needed to address the needs of our special clients. Your contributions cover:

  • Relocation services for 24 people (8 women with 2 children each)
  • Rent-free private housing and care
  • Intensive case management and legal connection support
  • On-site counseling for the women and children
  • Workshops (including parenting, budgeting, and boundary setting)
  • Career counseling and training
  • Future planning support

Contributions and Financial Accountability
