Program
Wing Haven has the capacity to serve at least 16 children and their mothers (approximately 8 women) annually. We serve infants and children through age five. While at Wing Haven each family will have their own house and garden area to be able to establish a family routine.
Wing Haven’s unique program is made up of four key components:
- Relocation to Safety
All expenses paid airfare to a safe, confidential site
Friendly transportation to and from the airport
Clothing for women and children
Diaper bag and other essentials
Housing for a year
- Psychological, Spiritual and Legal Connection Support
On-site counseling
Intensive, individualized care
Spiritual encouragement through customized individual and group Bible studies
Legal connection support for custody matters
- Self-Enrichment Opportunities
Workshops
Outdoor activities, such as hiking and gardening
Opportunities to learn new hobbies
Small community of women and children for building friendships
- Future Planning Services
Opportunity to engage in outstanding workshops and electives to enrich the individual
Individualized case planning and goal setting
Job skill development
Opportunity to earn money through an on-site business
Transition support to a new home when leaving Wing Haven
